About WCBA

Our Mission

The WCBA is committed to promoting the general welfare of financial institutions in Westchester County and the surrounding markets, and to assist our members in serving the community in a responsible, profitable manner. In furtherance of this objective, the WCBA brings together the financial institutions and other key industry participants that serve Westchester County and surrounding markets to discuss issues important to all of us.  The WCBA offers valuable networking and educational opportunities, and provides good visibility to our members by supporting a variety of business and community events.

 

Our History

The Westchester County Bankers Association has been in existence since 1932 and has a long history with the Westchester business and financial community. The membership consists of Westchester County financial institutions and has recently expanded to include non-bank financial institutions, in recognition of their important role in the community.

The purpose of this association is to permit institutions of all sizes to come together and discuss issues important to all of us. It is a valuable networking opportunity and offers good visibility to members through the support a variety of business and community events. The organization promotes many initiatives that provide benefits to its members; e.g., networking with local CPA’s at various seminars, keynote speakers that address financial and industry related topics at selected monthly meetings.
